Video-based skill, knowledge app started by Stockbridge teacher wins small business award

JACKSON MI — CrossBraining, a video-based skill and knowledge testing app, has been awarded the SmartZone Best Small Business Award from Michigan Celebrates Small Business. CrossBraining was created by Josh Nichols, who was a Stockbridge Community Schools teacher when he founded the app. A first-version pilot of CrossBraining, which allows students to capture their learning process through video storytelling, was launched in October 2019. Nichols formed partnerships with GoPro, University of Michigan, Jackson College, Spring Arbor University and other schools throughout the country in the venture. Read More
